New shocks,
New stainless steel exhaust
New starter,
New water pump,
New battery
New Tires
All new brakes within last 3k miles
Items rebuilt
Heads have been completely gone through 3k miles ago
Oil pump rebuilt
Fuel pump rebuilt
Carb rebuilt
Gas tank acid dipped and coated in and out.
Still has the original generator!!
Floors and frame and trunk are Amazing, no rust, solid!!!!!!!
Cons.
small rust spot behind drivers side rear door,
passenger rear quarter has some surface rust but no holes
bumpers have some rust holes ,
yet solidInterior (see pics) seats could be recovered,
headliner is torn (being held up with magnets)
Door panels became brittle and have started to tear.
I’m the 3rd owner I bought it from a guy here in Ramsey, MN who had it for 28 years and sat for quite a few years, originally out of Iowa. Last owner I think had outside for a little bit of time as the hood paint flaked away and has all patina rust now(looks killer when wet!!!)
Honestly it would be hard to find such a good survivor that runs so good and just floats down the road. I love this car pains me to sell it but I have the itch next cruiser and wife won't let me keep more than one. The floors and underneath have no holes at all!!!!
