    Description

Vintage Hamm's Beer shell glass in GOOD condition. Condition is "used"
All glasses are inspected very closely and graded according to the scale at the bottom of this description page, please take the time to read and understand the scale. Any chips, cracks, or notable damage will be mentioned in the primary description below. Please contact me with any questions.
10oz, 4 13/16" tall glass in GOOD condition. Please look closely at all photos for an accurate understanding of condition. Hamm's used this basic theme for its glass labels throughout the 1950s, there are a few variations of the red "Hamm's" inside a blue rounded square with the blue slogan at the bottom. This particular label, with the slogan in italics, is the only one put on a Federal glass and it is always on a Federal glass, be it a sham or a shell. The one listed here is a Federal glass and it's the largest shell I've seen this label on. If you're one of those Hammaniacs who's gotta have every size, this one's for you. I'm grading the glass GOOD because there are too many little marks on the glass to grade it better, but none of the marks are strong enough to see without holding the glass up to a light source. When you pick the glass up in your hand, it looks excellent all day.
These old beer glasses are perfect for display or every day use. Grab this one today and enjoy your next happy hour in style! I list vintage beer glasses every week. Please have a look through my other listings and check back in regularly!
    GRADING SCALE:
PRISTINE = no identifiable wear marks of any sort, the glass is like new.
NEAR-PERFECT = less than 5 minimal, very light wear marks identifiable only using a light source and looking very closely.
EXCELLENT = up to 15 light wear marks around the glass, such as rub marks and micro-scratches, but no true scratches. Possibility of very minor chip/scratch in the label if there are no other wear marks on the glass.
VERY GOOD = similar number of wear marks as excellent rating, just a little more noticeable. Possibility of a light scratch ring on the bottom surface. Possibility of a minor chip or scratch in the label, nothing obvious.
GOOD = many light wear marks with the possibility of 1-2 minor scratches somewhere on the glass. Noticeable scratch ring on the bottom surface likely. Possibility of minor label damage.
WELL USED = lots of wear and/or multiple obvious scratches. Heavy scratch ring on the bottom surface likely. Significantly faded or damaged label possible.
DAMAGED = cracked, chipped, or very heavily worn glass.
